Simple and Yummy Kaju(Cashew Rice)Pulao Recipe

is a rice dish that is cooked with a special blend of spices. It is a delicious and flavorful dish with a unique taste and aroma.



Ingredients:

- 2 cups Basmati Rice
- 3 tablespoons Ghee/oil
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 2 tablespoons Garam Masala
- 1 teaspoon Red Chilli Powder
- 2 tablespoons Coriander Powder
- 2 tablespoons Cumin Powder
- 1 teaspoon Turmeric
- 2 tablespoons Ginger-Garlic Paste
- 2 medium Onions, chopped
- 2 Green Chillies, chopped
- 2 tablespoons Fresh Coriander Leaves, chopped
- 1 cup Yogurt
- 2 tablespoons Fried Onion
- 3 tablespoons Fried Cashew Nuts
- 1 teaspoon Lemon Juice
- 2 tablespoons Ghee

  

Instructions:


1. Wash and soak the Basmati Rice for 30 minutes.

2. Heat the Ghee/oil in a pot and add the Salt, Garam Masala, Red Chili Powder, Coriander Powder, and Cumin Powder. Fry for 2 minutes.

3. Add the Turmeric, Ginger-Garlic Paste, Onions, Green Chilies, Fresh Coriander Leaves, and Yogurt. Fry for 4 minutes.

4. Add the Basmati Rice and Fry for 2 minutes.

5. Add 2 cups of water and bring to a boil. Cover and simmer for 20 minutes.

6. When the Rice is cooked, add the Fried Onion, Cashew Nuts, Lemon Juice, and Ghee. Stir to combine.

7. Serve the kaju pulao hot with your favorite raita and salad.
